Advocacy Training

This summer, New Futures is partnering with the NH Food Alliance to bring their free Advocacy 101 trainings on the road! Food security and access is essential to keep Granite Staters healthy, and portions of these advocacy trainings will aim to help you become more active in shaping food and agriculture policy. They will be offered in different regions of the state with a local host partner to make them convenient and accessible for you!
At these trainings, you'll learn about the unique NH legislature, how a bill becomes a law, best practices for engaging with legislators, practical advocacy and communication skills, and more. You'll leave feeling empowered and confident in your ability to take direct action on issues you care about and will be better equipped to make a difference New Hampshire.
