Working towards your LICSW?

Need to know how to keep it?

The New Hampshire Board of Mental Health Practice has been established to identify for the public, quality healthcare professionals through a system of licensure standards of practice, continuing competency and regulatory oversight. We recommend you contact NH BMHP with any questions about becoming licensed. Members who have additional questions or would like clarification are welcome to contact the Chapter Executive Director - exec.naswnh@socialworkers.org

All LICSWs must receive 40 approved continuing education units (CEUs) every 2 years. At least 6 of the 40 CEUs shall be completed in ethics and shall be from Category A. At least 3 of the 40 CEU’s shall be completed in suicide prevention and shall be from Category A. For all renewal requirements click here.
