Lynn Stanley, LICSW, Executive Director
Lynn Stanley, LICSW has clinical experience and a strong macro social work background in social policy, training and facilitation, non-profit leadership, and volunteer board coordination. She spent fourteen years with Casey Family Services: first as a clinical case manager, then providing technical assistance to foster/ adoptive parent associations, and the last six years as the Team Leader for Casey’s school-based Franklin Family Resource Center. Lynn was the Lead for the NH Afterschool Network, working to increase out of school learning opportunities for youth and closing the opportunity gap for lower income youth. She is adjunct faculty/teaching lecturer in the Social Work Department at the University of New Hampshire. Lynn earned her BA from New College of Florida and her MSW from the University of New Hampshire. She is also a proud Zonta member. Janelle Joliat, LICSW, Program Manager
Janelle completed her undergraduate degree in psychology at James Madison University in Virginia and earned her MSW from Boston College. She is currently an LICSW clinician with adults in a group practice. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and exploring different areas of New England. Emryn Lessie, Communications Manager
Emryn (they/them) completed their undergraduate degree in human services from Southern New Hampshire University and hopes to pursue their MSW in the (near) future. They have been working in the human services field for six years. In their free time, they enjoy writing queer fiction, spending time with their wife, and playing with their two pets, Buffy and Frumpkin. Amy Tietjen
Amy Tietjen is a first-year student in the MSW program at UNH. She is interested in the fields of medical social work and elder services. She received a Bachelor of Science from Montana State University, Bozeman. She currently works as a certified medical assistant at a primary care practice. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, quilting, gardening, and spending time with her family and her cat.
Caroline Apiki
Caroline Apiki is currently a student at the University of New Hampshire and working to complete her MSW. Last year, she graduated from the University of New Hampshire with her bachelors degree in political science. While completing her undergraduate degree, she realized that her main area of interest was social policy, which led her to pursue a career in social work. In her free time she enjoys running, cooking, shopping, and spending time with friends and family.
Karina Bonilla
Karina Bonilla completed her undergraduate degree at Saint Anselm College in 2021 and she is currently in the MSW program at the University of New Hampshire. She works full time as the Program Director for Access Academy at Saint Anselm College, an after-school college access program for high school students. She lives in Manchester, NH with her husband Jason and their dog Jojo. In her free time she loves to be outside sitting by a fire or on the beach, reading a good book.
Allison D Langis-Bernier
Allison D Langis-Bernier is a MSW student at UNE. She received her bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and Psychology at Saint Josephs College of Maine in 1993. Allison has worked in Child Protective Services, Case Management for Children with Disabilities, volunteered with Autism Society of Maine, and as a support professional in a group home with teenaged boys. She stepped away from social work in order to focus on family and has run/owned a Real Estate Appraising business for the last 20+ years. Allison's passion has always been social work and is very excited to have made the decision to come back to this profession.
Liz Szulgit
Liz Szulgit completed her BSW in 2021 from the University of Vermont and worked at the Howard Center as a behavior interventionist and then senior interventionist. She is now back at UVM working towards her MSW. Her passions in social work include working with youth in education and political advocacy. She is super excited to be a part of the NASW team! When she is not focusing on school, she loves to be outside skiing, biking, hiking, or running! She also enjoys some down time like reading a good book and listening to music.
